CMC’s scope included major structural concrete for two 6ML reservoirs, pump stations, 900m access road, 2000m DICL pipework, pump installation and 5000m3 structural concrete.

Highlights

Collaboration: CMC worked closely with designers during the construction to redesign plant layout, allowing critical structures to be built within the program schedule.

Innovation: CMC undertook a five-month fast-tracked program with multiple crews working seven days per week, 24 hours per day including through Christmas. This is the only pump station along the Oxley to Bundamba pipeline to successfully meet its mandated commissioning date.
