CMC was proud to continue its close working relationship with TMR (Gold Coast Region) after being awarded the Pacific Motorway Upgrade, Mudgeeraba to Varsity Lakes early works project, delivering critical infrastructure improvements in the area.
The project involved the removal and reconstruction of noise fencing, construction of an access track RCBC culvert crossing, PUP relocations, supply of ITS equipment (excluding VMS boards), installation of ITS including VMS, CCTV’s and associated civil works, and relocation of existing of CCTV infrastructure.
Collaboration: CMC worked closely with TMR and the project Administrator, Principal, and Designer to develop a revised design solution for the reinforced rock access track through the swampy marshland area and ensure a successful project.
Problem-Solving: CMC proposed and successfully implemented boring for the communication and sewer conduits under Link Way in lieu of trenching, thus reducing traffic interactions.
