We’re excited to announce that CMC has been awarded the Cunningham Highway (Warwick-Inglewood) Safety Upgrade for the Department of Transport and Main Roads.
This project forms part of the Department of Transport and Main Roads High Risk Roads Program, which will deliver safety enhancements along sections of the Cunningham Highway – a key freight and commuter route linking Goondiwindi to the Southern Downs.
The scope of work includes intersection upgrades, pavement widening and resurfacing, new guardrails and motorcycle protection, drainage improvements and road furniture, and solar-powered flag lighting.
Work is now underway, with our team already progressing guardrail retrofitting, clearing, and earthworks. A fantastic start to a project that will make a real difference in road safety for the region. Stay tuned as we continue building safer, smarter infrastructure.
