The Southern Queensland Accelerated Road Rehabilitation Project (SQARRP) replaced 31 timber bridges on strategic road networks stretching across 600 kilometres.
CMC performed 60 percent of the total value of the work under the alliance and provided most of the senior project management team.
Innovation: CMC reduced construction time of each bridge by one week and saved the client $4 million by replacing cast in-situ kerbs with a PSC kerb unit on all bridges.

Economic: CMC delivered the new bridges $18 million under the forecast budget and six months ahead of the schedule.
