This week saw Geotechnical Investigations and Survey Pickups kicking-off CMC’s latest project win, Plains Station Road Slip Restoration for Tenterfield Shire Council!
This project, co-funded by the Australian and NSW Governments through the Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements, aims to restore the narrow rural road that connects the Bruxner Highway and Clarence Way, after multiple landslides occurred during a storm event in February 2022.
This design and construction project, in collaboration with our design partners BG&E and their Geotechnical experts at FSG, involves IFC design, clearing and grubbing, slope stabilisation, demolition and reconstruction of pavements, verges, table drains, traffic barriers, road furniture and batters, site rehabilitation and landscaping.
We’re proud to play a part in reconnecting this community and building infrastructure that will stand the test of time.
Stay tuned for more updates on this project and others we’re delivering across New South Wales.
