Work is officially underway on the Paradise Dam Road upgrades for Sunwater, the first of three road upgrades supporting the project to build a new Paradise Dam wall.
Sunwater is currently planning for a new wall to be built immediately downstream of the existing dam, following new issues identified regarding the long-term strength and quality of Paradise Dam’s concrete.
The CMC team are upgrading the road towards the intersection of Paradise Dam and Booyal-Dallarnil roads, improving the safety, efficiency, and durability of the road network leading to the dam site.
