At CMC, we’re growing our cultural intelligence through hands-on learning and meaningful connections.
Recently, our NSW project teams and CMC leaders joined Banaam for an ‘On Country Cultural Experience’ at Fingal Head. This immersive experience offered the team a chance to deepen their understanding of the enduring connection Aboriginal people have with Country, and the knowledge passed down through generations.
The team explored traditional bark weaving, a technique used to create twine for tools and shelter and learned about the versatile uses of paperbark for insulation, bedding, and cooking.
