CMC had the pleasure of connecting with Queensland’s future industry leaders at the STEM Women Graduate Careers Fair, held at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre.
The event provided an excellent opportunity to engage directly with students and graduates who are passionate about science, technology, engineering and mathematics, and who are keen to explore career pathways within the civil construction industry.
Representing the CMC team on the day was HR Advisor Alyssa Reed, Training & Development Coordination Michael Alizzi, Site Engineer Ana Lia Campos and Undergraduate Engineer Taylah Roset. Throughout the event, the team shared insights into their own career journeys and highlighted the diverse pathways within civil construction with CMC.
These conversations offered valuable insight into the ambitions and priorities of the next generation of women in STEM, while also enabling CMC to showcase what it’s like to work on complex, large‑scale civil construction projects.
As CMC continues to grow, we’re looking for passionate, skilled graduates who are ready to contribute to the successful delivery of complex civil construction projects across Queensland and New South Wales.
A big thank you to STEM Women for hosting such a valuable event and we look forward to continuing to engage with emerging talent who share our passion for engineering, construction and making a lasting impact through infrastructure.
