Grant joined CMC in 2006 as a Project Engineer, and since then has taken on multiple project management, operational management and executive management roles, before being appointed Chief Executive Officer in mid-2024. Grant has extensive experience delivering value to government and private clients through complex civil infrastructure projects across Transport, Renewables, Oil and Gas, Resources, Defence and Water sectors. Grant now leads CMC Group on a daily basis by empowering CMC’s exceptional people to deliver exceptional outcomes every day guided by a shared vision and values set.
Grant is a qualified Civil Engineer, Chartered Professional Engineer and Engineering Executive, Fellow of the Institution of Engineers Australia and Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ). Grant is an active Board Member of the Queensland Major Contractors Association (QMCA) and is also involved in the Civil Contractors Federation (CCF) Queensland.
