A CMC team consisting of Karen van Schagen, Elise Neumann, Tanieta Brewster, Rachel Mahoney, and Josie Gill, had the privilege of attending the QMCA Women in Engineering Breakfast. It was an incredibly inspiring event where they heard powerful speeches from female leaders who are driving change and innovation in the construction industry.
The event highlighted the importance of diversity and inclusion, and showcased the remarkable achievements of women who are breaking barriers and setting new standards in engineering. As proud supporters of Queensland Major Contractors Association (QMCA) and NAWIC QLD – National Association of Women in Construction, we are committed to fostering an environment where all voices are heard and valued.
They left the breakfast feeling motivated and empowered to continue supporting and promoting the growth of women in our industry. A big thank you to QMCA and NAWIC for organising such an impactful event and for their ongoing efforts to advance gender equality in construction.
