Following Queensland Women’s Week and International Women’s Day celebrations, a team of five from CMC had a great night at Civil Contractors Federation Queensland Ltd Women in Civil Cocktail event earlier this month.
CMC’s HSE Coordinator Angeliki Samios, Environmental Engineer Claudia Azevedo, Estimator Karen van Schagen, Site Engineer Golnar Khorami Fard, and Environmental Advisor Elise Neumann came together to hear from inspirational panellists and to celebrate women in the industry.
One of CMC’s key objectives is to achieve a 25% female workforce by 2025, and CMC were honoured to have such a fantastic group of women representing us at this event. More of the team are featured in the on-site image, including CMC Project Administrator Jessica Lloyd, Operator Skye Saunders, Community Liaison Officer Jess Reid (Ciantar) and Senior Ecologist Sarah Grady from CQG Consulting (CQ Environmental Pty Ltd). We’re grateful for all the women at CMC who represent our values and contribute to our success every day.
