While working on the Nimbin Road Landslip Remediation project in Lismore, CMC’s project team recycled cans and bottles on onsite to raise funds for the Nimbin Bowling Club – a local non for profit run by volunteers.
These efforts were organised through CMC’s ‘Thirst for Legacy’ initiative, with all proceeds made from recycled cans and bottles on site matched by head office to support local charities and organisations.
Over the course of the project the CMC team raised $750, which went towards a new 30-square-metre concrete slab for the Nimbin Bowling Club’s BBQ area.
Thank you to Holcim Concrete Lismore who provided the concrete at a discount, @Nimbin Building Materials who donated construction materials, and locals who volunteered their time alongside our team to lay and finish the slab.
A great effort from those involved for a very deserving organisation.
