Our journey in Lismore has been about more than just landslip remediation works and reconstructing Nimbin Road to restore essential access for the local community; it’s been about building relationships.
The local community’s response, from thumbs-up gestures as they passed by, to hand-delivering baked goods to our crew, and the unforgettable cake recreating our works they surprised us with, has been incredibly moving.
These acts of appreciation go beyond simple gestures; they represent a deep-rooted community spirit and acknowledgment of our team’s hard work and commitment.
We are profoundly grateful for the trust and warmth the community has extended to us, our ongoing collaboration with Lismore City Council and to our Operations Manager Josh Hungerford, Project Manager Adon Dinsmore and Superintendent Jeremy Wilson for steering the ship and the rest of the CMC crew for their continued support and hard work.
Throughout 2024, CMC will continue other pivotal projects in the Lismore, Richmond Valley, Clarence Valley, and Tweed Shire areas.
