After a long wait CMC Plant Hire finally took delivery of its new Kenworth K220 Aerodyne Prime Mover!
Rated at 97 Tons, with a 615 Hp Cummins X15 engine, an 18-speed Roadranger, and the distinctive custom CMC Paint job, it is a worthy replacement for our previous Kenworth K108, which had done over 1 million km’s moving CMC Plant Hire’s fleet all over Eastern Australia.
The changes and improvements in technology between this truck and the older one are dramatic. It features an all-digital dash and many driver aids to help keep our drivers and the general public safer when it is at work. Not to mention a Euro 5 emission engine that features Ad Blue and DPF burnoff, thereby reducing our carbon footprint even further!
A new Volvo L70F IT Wheel Loader has also joined our fleet in Tweed Heads.
