Oxley Recycled Water Pump Station
Located in western Brisbane, the Oxley Recycled Water Pump Station was part of the Western Corridor Recycled Water Project. It included the design and construction of the main pump station and control building which now pumps the recycled water from the Oxley Sewerage Treatment Plant.
CMC was engaged by the Eastern Pipeline Alliance as a full sub-alliance member to deliver the pump station and associated works. CMC’s extensive experience with technical concrete, multidisciplinary works, and organisational culture were key to being selected as a partner for the project.
Civil works included:
- Major structural concrete for two 6ML reservoirs
- Low-lift and high-lift pump stations
- Interceptor structure and all associated pipe work
- 900m access road
- 2,000m DICL pipework
- Pump installation
- 5,000 m3 structural concrete
