This early works intersection upgrade was delivered as part of the $367M Rookwood Weir project to capture water in the lower Fitzroy River for agricultural, industry and community use in the Central Queensland.
This project provides an intersection upgrade for ‘improved safety and line of sight’ for traffic turning off the Capricorn Highway into Gogango at Third Street, leading to Second Street and Riverslea Road and includes an upgrade of local roads throughout the township of Gogango, approximately 65 km west of Rockhampton.
