CMC continues to break new ground in New South Wales
CMC has been awarded the $37 million Ourimbah Stage 3 Project which will involve widening the Pacific Highway to provide two lanes in each direction.
The fourth major contract awarded to CMC by Roads and Maritime Services, this project continues to cement CMC’s position in New South Wales.
Works largely involve bridge demolition, bridge construction, retraining wall construction, ground improvement works, earthworks, pavements, stormwater drainage, shared footpath, public utility adjustments, street lighting, traffic signals, property adjustments and landscaping.
The project will involve 24 property adjustments and require close consultation with key stakeholders that may be impacted by the works. Traffic management will play an integral part of our delivery methodology and approach with 29,000 motorists travelling this part of the highway each day.
CMC was one of eight tenderers to competitively bid for this project. Works are expected to commence in April 2016 with a construction duration of 27 months.
