CMC’s Alex Walker Rescues Pet Rabbit From Danger!

Recently on site Alex Walker (our Community Advisor / Administrator on the Wyong Road Upgrade) rescued a pet rabbit which was on the main road in serious danger of getting run over or causing a traffic accident.

Alex took the rabbit back to her office, and nurtured the rabbit with cuddles, food and water.

Alex then used her community knowledge and made enquiries throughout the local area and succeeded in tracking down the owner.

The rabbit, whom we now know as Jessica, was reunited with her grateful owners once they returned from work.

…Alex cried a little but she’s ok now.
